Gently...
gently
my fingers touch the keys
and the music starts...
slow and soft it plays like a river...
with calm tunes and uplifting voices...
and time stops for four minutes.
Nothing else matters...
Just me and the keys.
With each note my thoughts cease
and everything is full of peace.
Then I stop.
Why did I stop?
And I stare..
At the black and white bars staring back at me...
...
But the music is still playing in my mind.
